Miniature Writing Challenge #1

(Tuesday 28th July – Monday 3rd August)

For this first challenge the theme will be Coming of Age.

Write a story, poem and/or haiku that revolves around this theme. A young boy/girl discovering the changes and challenges of adulthood. A poem about growing up or a haiku on a teen’s emotional struggles. These are some ideas, but you can choose your own perspective on the topic. Draw on your own experiences as a teen or your experiences with teenagers if you have any.
