Traces of Me

I wish to leave traces of me scattered around the world

So my presence can never be forgotten and my voice will be forever heard

I wish to lend a helping hand to the drowning and bewildered

To assist them as best I can and hope they’re never injured

A roaming ghost in this world, I hope not to become

For my fire still burns within and I will nourish it until it is gone

I wish to leave traces of myself as proof of my existence
